Titania's Star Hengeband

Approx. 3.25" x 1". Made of pewter, comes with braided leather cord. Faeries were originally worshipped as minor goddesses, such as nymphs or tree spirits. Over time, they have remained in pagan folklore as metaphors for the night sky and stars. They now are reputed to frolic in woodlands and grant good wishes to those who believe in and see them...but be careful what you wish for! Created through a collaboration between fantasy artists Anne Stokes and Briar, Hengebands are the perfect accent for ceremonies, parties, or personal empowerment. They can be worn around the head, neck, or even as a thigh decoration, as the braided cord is adjustable for sizing. More than a fashion accessory, they allow you to create in your mind's eye a circle of energy around you, and awareness of this circle will allow you to center yourself. The magic circle has been used for thousands of years to capture energy, form holy space, and provide magickal protection. If you focus on the symbol on your forehead, you can channel the energy you wish to receive. Each band comes on a braided leather adjustable thong and is packaged in a clear box with an organza pouch and comprehensive leaflet with all meanings.
