Product Details
8 sticks per package Motor City Candleworks incense is all hand-dipped in Detroit, Michigan, using locally-sourced, high-quality fragrances and essential oils. Each pack comes with 8 sticks of incense. Select from the following scents:
  • Alpena Verbena -- One of our favorites, this is a lovely blend of lemon and grassy herbals, kissed with a bright floral note.
  • Ann Arbor Berry Bash -- Don't hash it over...just get it! This is one of our best sellers with hints of floral, melon, and berries floating on top of a fresh tropical ocean breeze. One whiff, and you'll have a natural high!
  • Au Sable Autumn Lodge
  • Cheboygan Cinnabomb
  • Detroit Dragon Blood -- There are almost as many different descriptions of dragon's blood as there are different trees from which its resin is obtained. As for the scent, it is a complex, earthy mix of herbs, musks, amber, and even vanilla. Incense is where it shines as the smoke seems to accentuate the fragrance.
  • Detroit River Currant
  • Detroit Thaiger -- Inspired by two staple ingredients of Thai cooking, this delicious blend of lemongrass and coconut will whet your appetite. If you like Thai food, you're going to love this Asian tiger!
  • Downriver Rat Musk -- Ever been to a muskrat dinner? Neither have we. But when it was accepted as an alternative to fish during Lent by the Archdiocese of Detroit for the early settlers (because it swam), it became a downriver tradition. Fortunately, our musk fragrance is a more classic Egyptian musk, and you don't have to wait until Lent to enjoy it!
  • East Lansing Lover's Spell -- A fresh, sensuous fragrance with notes of grapefruit, clementine's, and strawberries.
  • Garden City Gardenia -- A popular floral scent, it smells just like a fresh corsage.
  • Grand Rapids Grandma's Kitchen -- A cinnamon-apple blend, great to have around for the holidays. Wonderful, warm, home sweet (Grandma's) home.
  • Great Lakes Lavender -- Lavender is such a universally popular fragrance, with scents of nature and florals without being overly sweet. It's a soothing fragrance that's good for putting you in a mellow mood.
  • Hazel Park Hazelnut Java -- The aroma of freshly-brewed coffee beans with notes of vanilla and hazelnut.
  • Honeysuckle Baked Hamtown -- Fresh spring floral, succulent and sweet, just like Hamtown here in Detroit.
  • Kalamazoo Cucumber -- A delicious salad of subtle cucumber and ripe melon. A great summer scent!
  • Mackinack Lilac -- Don't let the way we spell it "gnaw" at you. We just want to bring attention to the fact that this resort island is known for something more than just fudge. Smell this fresh lilac scent, and you'll feel as though you're lost somewhere in time.
  • Maggie's Magic -- This scent is in honor of a great friend of the makers of Motor City Candleworks. The scent is the delicate, white-green floral of spring, soft and sheer as fine linen.
  • MI, My MI -- A light a fruity fragrance, featuring juicy red pomegranate with notes of anise, patchouli, blackberry, musk, dewberry, iris, vanilla, sandalwood, tobacco flower, and cassis.
  • Michigan Road Patch Ooli -- 60's flashback! The musky incense of choice for years in the counterculture. You can almost hear the sitar music!
  • Motor City Musk -- The age-old masculine scent with a powdery top note. One of the earliest perfume scents.
  • Mt. Pleasant Volcano
  • Newberry Blueberry -- Michigan has several areas known for their blueberries. One such is the Newberry/Paradise area in the Upper Peninsula. Our blueberry is a smooth, buttery, baked blueberry, mellow and soothing!
  • Petoskey Stoner Sangria -- A potent blend of peach, orange, and a splash of cranberry.
  • Port Huron Sweet Pea -- Delicate scent of sweet peas along the garden fence. Very feminine and old-fashioned, with a peachy undertone.
  • Romeo Peach Heaven -- The name of this fragrance is a tribute to the annual Peach Festival held every September in Romeo, Michigan, as well as to the popular Redhaven peach. In this scent, sweet peaches and delicious spices blend with a peach cobbler's buttery crumble topping. It's the ultimate comfort fragrance for a cold night when you want to create a warm, cozy atmosphere.
  • Roseville Rosebud -- A rose is a rose is a rose. Need we say more?
  • Super Duper Yooper -- Don't be a troll...go north, to the wonderland that is the Upper Peninsula. We know you won't find mango trees in the U.P., but this scent was too good to pass up. It's a wonderful blend of mangoes and apples complemented with some lovely florals. It's super duper!
  • Taylor Tea Town -- Chai tea is a spiced milk tea that has become increasingly popular throughout the world. Our scent has strong black tea notes, balanced with sweet cream and spices. It's time for tea!
  • Traverse City Cherry Baby -- Alluring scent of ripe, red cherries; fresh fruits; and sweet, creamy vanilla.
  • Ypsi Ylang Ylang
  • Zilwaukee Zest -- Spearmint and eucalyptus join forces to create a fresh and invigorating clean scent.
